Ada’s passion for storytelling and community-building is rooted in her personal and professional journey. With over 8 years of experience in public relations, Ada serves as a Corporate Communications Manager at TD, where she excels in developing strategic external programs for AI and Innovation at the bank.

Ada’s connection to Big Brothers Big Sisters Toronto (BBBST) runs deep. As a former mentee, she experienced firsthand the transformative power of mentorship and the importance of building strong, supportive relationships. Her role as a spokesperson for BBBST on platforms such as CTV, Breakfast Television, and at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario showcased her ability to amplify the organization’s mission and share its impact with wider audiences.

This early experience inspired Ada to pursue a career in public relations, where she now combines her professional expertise with her passion for storytelling to make a difference. As Co-Chair of the BBBST Big Leaders committee, Ada is committed to giving back to an organization that shaped her path, working to ensure that mentorship opportunities continue to thrive for future generations.

Eric is a licensed lawyer and the managing associate of Spadafora Johnson Lepore LLP – Vaughan office. Eric manages clientele and matters spanning across the province. Eric serves his clients as a general practitioner with emphasis in corporate, commercial, real estate, wills, and estates law.

Eric has always had a passion for giving back to his community and has volunteered with organizations such as Sick Kids and Villa Leonardo Gambin long-term care home as well as various mentorship roles throughout his schooling from high school to law school. Additionally, and most importantly, Eric was previously a Big for BBBST through their group school program and has renewed this relationship with BBBST as a Co-Chair of the Big Leaders committee. Mentorship means a lot to Eric, both as mentor and mentee, and he is proud to contribute his effort and support towards this cause and BBBST.

As a proud member of the Big Leaders group with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto, I bring my experience as a marketing professional in the financial and insurance industries, Big Brother mentor, and community advocate to create impactful opportunities for youth. Passionate about inclusivity and sports, I serve on the board for Toronto Playgrounds Baseball and as a house league coach. Together, we’re building a brighter future!

Candice Bizimana is a communications professional with a decade of experience spanning multiple organizations and continents. After relocating to Toronto, Canada, she felt inspired to give back to her community and became a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto. For the past three years, she and her Little, Shaolyn, have built a bond filled with fun, creativity, and friendly competition. Whether strategizing over card games, bringing imaginative projects to life through arts and crafts, or finding their balance on the ice as they learn to skate. Candice is excited to deepen her impact by joining the Big Leaders committee and supporting BBBST in a new way.

Cassandra (Cass) Chettle is the Manager of Community Investment at Scotiabank where she is responsible for leading and deepening relationships with over 200 charitable partners to drive social impact across Scotiabank’s global footprint. In her free time, Cass is passionate about cooking, crafting, and volunteering as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto.

Andrew Slock is a Toronto-based public relations and communications professional. He is also a volunteer member of the Big Leaders committee with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto, where he helps raise funds and awareness for the organization. As an aspiring Big Brother, Andrew believes deeply in the power and importance of mentoring youth and the lasting impact positive role models can have in their lives.

Simrat “Sunny” Singh is a student and mentor passionate about supporting youth. He began his mentorship journey with Humber’s Student Success & Engagement team as a Senior Peer Mentor, supervising mentors and supporting first-year students transitioning into college. This inspired him to mentor high school students through PFPS, where he has volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto for over two years. Sunny is also a volunteer member of the Big Leaders Committee, supporting fundraising and awareness efforts.
